Who will be this year’s “Sound of the Beach”?

Held right here at Sonic Vista Studios Ibiza, organized by Beatport, Corona and SFX Entertainment.

It’s been an intense time for our finalists here at Sonic Vista Studio, a lot of creative steam has been released and condensed into 1 song for each competitor. Their mission: Sonically illustrate the atmosphere that surrounds that one place where we go to have a meeting with Apollo and lay on the sand with Poseidon’s palace at our feet. Yes, our competitors had to come up with a song that best encapsulated that feeling we all share from our times at the beach. It was a powerful 10 days for everyone, but our artists were well taken care of by everyone involved: Beatport, SFX and Corona made sure everything ran smooth as ice, assuring that schedules were followed, food was eaten, transport was secured and beer was cold!

The entire adventure was captured on film by our friends from iForce and will very soon be released online for everyone to enjoy!

The grand prize for the winner of this competition is a modest 40 000€, not bad
